We met Clair and Sean back in April last year at The Field Kitchen to chat more about their tipi wedding and have a look around their unique venue. They were so lovely and it led us to look forward to their big day even more!
It’s so important for you to be happy with the whole experience leading up to your day. It means you can be relaxed and have all the fun when the day finally arrives!
Clair and her bride squad glammed up at her and Sean’s home, with a delicious afternoon tea that her sister had organised with Kelly’s Vintage Tea based in Melksham. We sampled a little taster, and can confirm; it was the best!
Clair opened a gorgeous Tiffany’s bracelet and sweet handwritten card from Sean. We headed over to catch the guys finishing up, and Sean’s reaction when he opened his own gift…
Sean unwrapped a sophisticated new watch, shock and delight on his face. We love seeing our couples’ reactions to perfectly chosen presents! Buttonholes pinned in place, Sean and his best man hopped into a friend’s Jaguar, and with a rev they were off to the church.
Back at the couple’s home, the glam squad finished up and gorgeous bouquets waited by the door, including cute ribbon adorned wands for Clair’s flower girls. The little one especially loved hers!
The bridesmaids slipped into their rose gold sequin dresses and helped Clair with her stunning blush layered lace gown and dreamy veil.
At the church, Sean waited for his soon-to-be wife at the top of the aisle, adorned so beautifully with flowers.
After a lovely ceremony, the church erupted with cheers and applause at the first kiss! As everyone lined up on the edges of the path outside for the confetti line, Clair and Sean dashed to the other side of the church grounds. They were keen to re-enact a photo that Clair’s parents have of their own wedding, under the archway. We loved that!
Onwards to The Field Kitchen, where they have the perfect layout for a relaxed wedding with a tipi. Pimms and beers kept everyone cool, and scrumptious little appetisers meandered in the crowd.
A fabulous wedding tipi was set up near the reception room, with the delicious cake and grazing table crafted by Clair’s friend Stacey; Stacey’s Kitchen. It even had a cocktail bar with two speciality cocktails chosen by the couple: espresso martinis and strawberry daiquiris. Yum! Claire has her own wedding styling business and she planned and decorated her day to perfection!
After speeches, guests went outside to enjoy the delicious desserts, and Clair and Sean had their first dance in the tipi. A surprise confetti cannon went off, and everyone joined the couple and danced to the jams of Interlight. We got some fantastic footage on the dancefloor! Grandparents were still throwing shapes until the sparkler exit at 11pm 😍
Congratulations to Clair and Sean, and thank you for choosing Sinead and I to photograph and film your special day! It definitely didn’t feel like a day at work! ❤️
