Kin House is a beautiful place to get married and a wonderful new venue in the countryside of Chippenham. Stylish, modern yet full of character, Kin House is one of those venues that feels effortlessly cool while still being warm and welcoming. I’m a local Kin House wedding photographer capturing relaxed, natural and modern weddings for couples who want their day documented honestly and with style.
Kin House is a dream to photograph because it’s been designed with flow and light in mind. Every space feels intentional, from the bedrooms to the communal areas, meaning your wedding day unfolds naturally without ever feeling rushed.
It’s a stylish venue, full of contemporary interiors with character (hello fun tiled bathrooms and sconces to die for!), like Fitz Bar for pre wedding drinks. Beautiful grounds for relaxed couple portraits, and a fabulous bar and dance area in Kilvert Hall. There’s even quiet areas for guests with children or the older folks to relax away from the party.
Ceremonies can take place inside the light-filled Garden House, surrounded by many amazing flowers and climbing plants, it’s really such a cool place to get married! There are also options to get married outside in their gardens under an arbour.
My style is best described as relaxed, natural and modern. I aim to blend into the background and I take a documentary approach for most of the day, stepping in gently when needed for portraits or group photos, but always keeping things calm and enjoyable. I’ll guide you just enough so you feel confident, while leaving space for natural moments to happen.
