Rebecca & Owen’s Chateau Destinee wedding was an epic destination celebration of a weekend! Nestled in the Dordogne countryside, this romantic French château set the scene for an unforgettable day with 65 of their closest family and friends.

A Romantic Chateau Destinee Wedding Ceremony

The couple got ready in the chateau in the morning, and with an afternoon ceremony led by Owen’s sister, the couple chose a personal, relaxed approach with no restrictions, allowing the day to unfold naturally. Every Chateau Destine wedding benefits from those epic sweeping countryside views overlooking the river, and warm Dordogne sunshine, and this day was no exception, especially as the temperature kept rising and rising!

After the ceremony, guests took solace under the shade as the temperature continued to soar close to 40 degrees – they were welcomed with ice cold drinks, canapés and a show-stopping Champagne tower. Even though it was hot, the atmosphere was full of laughter, lots of hugs and relaxing in the warm weather.

Rebecca’s classic bridal look, with a stunning Justin Alexander dress, was elevated by the incredibly talented makeup artist Kelly Makeup Paris, while the bridesmaids wore elegant gowns from Club L London. Floral design throughout the day was created by Artmania Fleur, and complemented the chateau’s romantic architecture beautifully.

Rebecca and Owen surprised guests at dinner, kicking off their reception with a conga line to “I Would Walk 500 Miles”, an iconic, tambourine-filled moment that got everyone up and dancing, setting the mood for a party! As golden hour approached, we stepped away for those soft, glowing portraits with Chateau Destinee as the perfect bakcdrop.

The evening continued with a romantic first dance to Maggie Rogers’ “Love You Like a Long Time,” a fun dance floor with live music from Four Kicks, and a spectacular profiteroles tower accompanied by sparklers!

The celebrations spread out over the weekend making it an extended party, with a relaxed pool BBQ the following day, the perfect ending to a dream weekend in Bordeaux ❤️
