Last week I drove to Sheffield to take part in Rock your Shot, a day of wonderfully inspirational talks and shooting for wedding photographers. As I love natural wedding photography, I wanted to learn more about this approach and it was an amazing experience to hear some seasoned pros talk about business, delving into the world of editing, having a workflow that works for you, marketing to your ideal couples, showing your couples some love and making sure expectations are set before the day and getting geeky about equipment!

In the middle of the day, we braved the various elements to take some wonderful photos of some lovely models :)

I learned a lot in just one day, and would highly recommend it to photographers starting out, or just looking for an injection of creativity and inspiration into your work!
