Sarah and James got married in Somerset this past June, surrounded by friends & family in their DIY, Bake-Off/Rugby inspired wedding! Sarah and her bridesmaids got ready with hair & makeup at Elements Hair and Beauty Salon and I joined them as the bubbles began to flow! With a beautiful Justin Alexander dress and a bouquet of flowers sourced by Sarah from Brunel Flowers, they headed off to the church to see everyone.
The lovely vicar gave them both lots of presents throughout his service, such as local ciders & beers, cake, wine, baking utensils and BUBBLES! They had to walk among their friends and family and bless them by blowing bubbles! Guests arrived at the tent in a lovely Somerset field, with moody skies and were treated to a yummy afternoon tea with games and some hilarious speeches by Sarah’s dad, James and the best man.
Being massive fans of the Great British Bake Off, they decided to have one on the day and were treated to many delicious cakes, cookies, pies and baked goods. Nothing, however, could beat the cake of the moment, which was baked by Sarah (naked cake = LOVE!). James did a great job building the bar and Jenga set for people to play, and the love of rugby came through in the table names with a scrum outside afterwards! It was a lovely day and a treat to photograph :)
