Pennard House Wedding
I was back over at Pennard House last year in May, and what a beauty! It’s a gorgeous country house in the middle of Somerset, not far from Glastonbury (it also has a few tents hidden in the grass for guests)
Nesta Lloyd asked me to assist, and we were treated to some lovely weather, meaning that Allison & Harry could have their ceremony outside – it’s always great when the summer plays nice, and we can take advantage of ceremonies outside 😀
They had registry ceremony with some lovely readings, and then because Allison’s dad was a pastor, he also took some time near the end, to say a personal blessing over the couple.
There were family and friends from all over the world, and with a reception filled with garden games, lemonade and quintessentially English touches to the day – everyone had an amazing time! One of my favourite photos from the day – when the couple walked up the staircase to be announced in – it’s the perfect time to have a second photographer to catch moments like this!
With so many candles and fresh flowers, their wedding reception room upstairs looked stunning, and the guests were treated to a firepit where they could make smores (my fave) and dance the night away – I loved all the fairy lights in the stable area!
Congratulations Allison & Harry, and thank you for having me along, Nesta! ❤️
