Relaxed Wellington Barn wedding – Becca and Ash
Becca and Ash’s relaxed barn wedding at Wellington Barn, which had laughs, fairy lights and an EPIC band!
Becca and Ash got married on a snowy Saturday in the lovely Wellington Barn, which is an understated rustic venue hidden away in Wiltshire. They had their ceremony at the local church, which was a short car ride away.
Bridal prep
Becca got ready at a gorgeous Airbnb with her bridesmaids and family, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It was starting to snow as we arrived to start shooting, even jumping outside to get a few shots of the gorgeous Airbnb they were staying in – it was almost quite festive for a St Patricks Day!
The ceremony
The wedding itself was lovely service in a local church about a half hour drive away. Before it started, myself and Sinead the videographer popped into the local pub to meet Ash and the groomsmen as they chatted with guests. During the ceremony they sang some amazing contemporary hymns. It was such a lovely personal service! Ash’s brothers also performed with some brass instruments during a musical interlude, while the register was being signed 😀
The reception
The reception was in the gorgeous Wellington Barn and it had been decorated with lots of fairy lights and gorgeous flowers from Tilly Tomlinson Flowers. It was also a great venue as they allowed their adorable family dog Annabel to come along and join in the fun for the day! The most memorable part of the day was the wedding band, because they were bloody AMAZING! They were a funky acoustic brass band and definitely got everyone moving! They also had a very yummy cake made from cheese (my fave!) during the evening.
The couple
Becca wore a gorgeous Laure de Sagazan dress with beautiful sleeve and bodice detailing and Ash wore a dapper navy three-piece suit and they looked so incredible. They met at uni while trying out for the brass band and have been together ever since! They got in touch with me after coming across my work on Instagram and their enquiry talked about how they weere looking forward to their rustic, relaxed wedding and were keen for natural photos and film!
