Belmond Le Manoir Wedding
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s small, personal, and utterly gorgeous, the sunken gardens at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons is a spot that ticks all the boxes. Nestled in the stunning Oxfordshire countryside, it’s the kind of place that feels like a secret garden—perfect for a relaxed and romantic ceremony.
Ilana & Hal chose the Sunken Gardens for their short but oh-so-special legal vows, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was a venue close to their hearts as Hal’s family had spent many occastions there over the years, With just their closest family and friends gathered around, they said “I do” surrounded by blooming flowers and lush greenery (and a sneaky hotel cat!). It was beautifully quiet and the afternoon sun gave everything a warm, golden glow—talk about serene!
Afterwards, everyone celebrated with bubbly and canapés by the greenhouse, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the incredible food that Belmond Le Manoir is so famous for. It was relaxed, fun, and filled with smiles all round, while we did family photos.
What’s so lovely about a setting like this is that it feels personal and private while still being breathtakingly beautiful. It’s proof that you don’t need a big, over-the-top wedding to create something truly magical.
