There are some wedding days that stay with you long after you’ve packed away your cameras, and second shooting at Plas Dinam is definitely one of them. Tucked away in the rolling Welsh countryside, the venue is elegant, warm, and full of personality, making it the perfect backdrop for a relaxed yet luxurious celebration.
As a second shooter on the day working alongside my fave Siobhan Beales, I get to capture the moments happening beyond the main lens.
The morning started with me capturing the groom and his groomsmen, as they got ready at the main house in the ceremony room, taking advantage of the grand wooden interiors and beautiful pockets of window light.
One of the things I love most about shooting at Plas Dinam is how seamlessly the venue flows. From the gardens to the glasshouse-style reception space, everything feels connected. When the ceremony begins, one of my favourite moments to capture is the grooms reaction!
Afterwards, the grounds came alive with drinks, music, and guests exploring every corner of the venue. Second shooting allowed me to quietly roam and catch the candid interactions, one of my favourites photos is Granny laughing and the adorable dogs invited!
A truly gorgeous wedding at Plas Dinam, and one of my faves! If you’re still looking for a photographer, get in touch here and let’s chat about your plans!
