Wow, what can I say about Holly & Freddie’s wedding!? These two had their original plans halted by the pandemic and had to postpone for a year, and my goodness it was worth the wait! When the day finally arrived, they had the boho summer wedding that they had hoped for, filled with flowers, amazing speeches and a golden hour that I LOVED
They got married on the hottest day of the year – and myself, Sinead who was filming and Amber my second shooter had a fab time capturing their day in all that glorious sunshine :) Everyone was so happy to be back out celebrating and enjoying just regular life again, and we all were in our element back shooting weddings!
The grounds were part of Freddie’s family home, which was the perfect setting for family and friends to get together to enjoy the day – beautiful areas to explore for couples photos, and for their guests to relax in the shade.
With the ceremony outside and officiated by Freddie’s uncle – it was a really special, personal moment in the day. With confetti dried by Holly’s aunt, and a beautiful floral arrangement by the talented Floral Roundabout, they had drinks and canapes in the shaded sunken gardens afterwards.
Everyone gathered for the meal and speeches in the gorgeous sperry tent while the sun set, and we managed to nip out to get the last of the golden hour in the evening :) so wonderful to be back shooting big weddings again!
