Stone Barn Wedding //
Katie kicked off the day getting ready in a local Airbnb where she had a Justin Alexander dress hanging, a borrowed veil, bespoke perfume by Jo Malone, and a beautiful bouquet by Go Wild Flowers. While all the gals were getting ready, I photographed the details of the day and as we left, Katie had a first look with her grandparents just before they set off – adorable!
As guests arrived at Stone Barn for the wedding, they were greeted by the ethereal beauty of florals by Go Wild Flowers hanging above. The barn is surrounded by lush green fields and sheep in the distance, making it a popular choice for couples looking for a country feel to their day. The main barn area, with exposed brickwork, adorned with candles, was an enchanting space for friends and family to arrive for the ceremony. It’s incredibly rustic with wildflowers and greenery everywhere ♡
For the reception that followed, they had confetti inside below the long corridor of twinkly fairy lights and as it was a bit of a blustery day, we decided on family photos inside (thankfully the barn has gorgeous big windows on one side, giving us lots of light!) Long wooden tables were adorned with handpicked wildflowers and delicate linens and Stone Barn is known for its open-plan BBQ kitchen, which guests can watch the chefs get cracking with the meals, and the yummy aromas it provides!
As the sun started to dip below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the landscape, the three of us popped out to get a few more photos. It’s always lovely to take some time after the meal and speeches to soak everything in!
The barn transformed into a dance floor where Katie & Dominic shared their first dance as a married couple. Friends and family joined in, and it became a very entertaining dance floor thanks to Dexter The Band!
