Bath elopement |
Melissa & Ben were due to get married back in April but 2020 had other plans! They moved venues to accommodate their smaller guest list, and the gorgeous Temple of Minerva in Bath was the setting for their day.
Melissa’s sister did the flowers and aren’t they amazing! Love the combo of natural colours and the steps around the Temple were adorned with candles and foliage – so gorgeous! As the gals arrived, they walked through the gardens and this was one of my favourite moments, with members of the public sending their well wishes along the way.
Ben waiting inside for Melissa was one of my favourite photos! The ceremony was short and sweet, with lots of lovely light inside, and as soon as they said their ‘I do’s they were outside in the lovely weather with some bubbles and confetti
With their record player set up playing great songs, they had a small afternoon tea set up by The Canape Kitchen, and a few speeches. I explored the botanical gardens outside while they ate – it’s a beautiful part of the city, just a short walk outside of the city centre 😍
They had a lovely raspberry topped cake, so we had a quick cake cutting moment, and then lots of goodbye wishes and waves and we headed off to capture some more couple photos – because I had a golden hour plan!
10min later, we had a magical sunset as we walked back towards the Royal Crescent – that golden light is gorgeous and the perfect way to end the day
So happy for you both Melissa & Ben – it was great to be a part of your day, congratulations!! ❤️
