Lake Como Photographer //
One of my highlights of 2018 was traveling back to Italy for a wedding! I absolutely LOVE Lake Como and the surrounding area – it’s so gorgeous and exceeded my expectations yet again. The views, the food, the wine – it was all magical!
I stayed in the pretty area of Tremezzina, at a cute B+B, which was close to the water and had a really nice view outside the bedroom window.
It was only a short drive away from Menaggio, where I got the ferry over to Varena, where I watched the sun set while drinking some Aperol Spritz ❤️It wasn’t too busy considering it was July, which was a plus!
Italian food is one of my favourite cuisines, and it did not disappoint! Had the BEST spaghetti aglio e olio. It’s a traditional Italian pasta dish from Naples, and is made by lightly sautéing garlic in olive oil, with some dried red chilli flakes – simple but oh so yummy!
I used this website to give me more advice and tips on where to go, the best spots for a view of the lake, public transport and villas to visit. Remember to pack a hat, and some comfy walking shoes, you will do a lot!
