A gorgeous day for a St Audries Park wedding | Somerset Wedding Photographer
I was assisting my great friend – Naomi Jane Photography, at the wonderful St Audries Park. It was the dreamiest summer wedding – The sun was shining, the gardens were glowing, and the whole day just felt full of love and good vibes. The bride, who’s American, brought this gorgeous, relaxed energy to the day—and she absolutely nailed the mix of classic English charm with a soft, romantic feel.
They had their ceremony in the Orangery, which was flooded with natural light—seriously, it was like something out of a movie. Pastel flowers were everywhere—soft pinks, lilacs, a touch of peach—and they looked incredible against the glass walls and greenery outside.
After the “I dos,” everyone headed out to the lawn for drinks, games, and some serious sunshine. There were garden games like giant Jenga, Connect 4, and croquet, people lounging with glasses of fizz, and so much laughter drifting across the grounds. It was the kind of afternoon where no one wanted to leave their deck chair.
Later on, the celebrations moved inside to the banqueting hall, where those dreamy pastel florals popped up again on the tables. Speeches were the perfect mix of hilarious and heartfelt—cue the happy tears—and by the time the music started, the dancefloor was full of people who clearly didn’t want the night to end. One of the perks of having a second shooter, it meant I could get the higher POV as a different angle and it’s one of my favourite photos from the day!
Everything just came together so perfectly—the weather, the venue, the chilled-out vibe—and it felt really personal to the couple!
