Old Gore Barn Wedding //
Steph & Ryan got married on a gorgeous summer day at the new venue Old Gore Barn in the Cotswolds
“We’re so excited for the wedding and so happy you’ll be there to capture all the good times!
We’re both getting ready at our family homes where we grew up. Steph’s dress has leafy appliques all over it (ties in with my love of nature!) and the bridesmaid’s dresses are all mismatched to suit their style.”
While all the girls got ready at Steph’s childhood home, she gave each of her bridesmaids gorgeous hand-wrapped books as a gift ♡
Charlotte Phipps Flowers was the florist for the day, and along with Steph’s dress with leafy appliques all over it (ties in with her love of nature!) and the bridesmaid’s dresses are all mismatched to suit their style – it was a day of beautiful blooms! “Charlotte Phipps – she once made an epic Mother’s day bouquet for Steph’s mum so we knew she’d do a good job!”
“The church we’re getting married in is the same church that Steph’s parents and grandparents got married in, and where Steph was baptised, so it’s pretty special.”
The couple borrowed a cute Nissan Figaro for the weekend and we aimed to get a shot of them driving away from the church in the car! It’s such a great idea to have some alone time driving to the reception venue. Speaking of the venue, Old Gore Barn is super gorgeous, surrounded by fields and trees, with a massive fire pit and BBQ are outside to relax in the sunshine and eat yummy canapes.
It’s open-air and spacious with plenty of room for garden games, smoke bombs, and lots of family photos.
The band The Timberfolk kicked things off in the evening, with their first dance song, and the party got well underway!
Congratulations Steph & Ryan, thank you for having me along! ♡
