Bath Guildhall Wedding |
A gorgeous elopement to share with you today – An early Autumn morning in Bath for Summer and Andy, and one of their favourite cities – the perfect place to get married!
They asked two close friends to be their witnesses – they were there in the morning to help calm any nerves – and I took photos of Summers bouquet and the stationary for our vows – all beautiful details by local sellers on Etsy.
We made the short walk to the Guildhall by foot, and on the way had a few photos in front of the Cathedral and the spot they got engaged – just before it got too busy and bustling with tourists!
Summer & Andy had originally thought of getting married at their local registry office in Canterbury, and even though they were aiming for a somewhat laid-back wedding, they knew going back to Bath would make it that bit more special. They absolutely love the city and had already been planning to come back, so it felt perfect!
After the ceremony, we had some photos inside the building on the grand staircase (isn’t it gorgeous!) and we walked to take portraits at the Royal Crescent and Botanical Gardens, both places they loved visiting when they first visited Bath ♡ The gardens were full of roses, and beautiful blooms – It’s always a treat to photograph here as my job!
