THE NED WEDDING
This lovely couple had their wedding at spectacular The Ned in London and it was nothing short of magical, blending the grandeur of a historic setting with modern luxury. Smack bang in the heart of the city, The Ned offers an amazing backdrop for couples wanting an unforgettable celebration!
The day began in the Grade I-listed building, (fun fact – it’s used to be the Midland Bank!), where the couple exchanged private vows and a blessing with just their family and witnesses, under the vaulted ceilings of The Drawing Room.
They then moved to The Saloon next door, an amazing space for their larger ceremony – where they had a very cool wedding zine/newspaper, which their guests loved reading – so many great reactions to it! They then had their Jewish ceremony, which came in 3 parts – the betrothal, in which rings are exchanged and declarations are spoken, secondly, the reading of the marriage contract (ketubah), and finally, the completion with seven traditional blessings, personal remarks from their rabbi, and a final blessing, just before smashing the glass!
After family photos and drinks outside on the balcony, we headed out into the streets of London to get some amazing couple photos!
The evening was filled with laughter, music, and epic dancing in The Vault, a unique bar area that once housed the bank’s gold. It’s a really quirky space, with its original safety deposit boxes and vintage decor – and as the night drew to a close, drinks (and shots!) were poured, and guests could let loose and celebrate!
Congratulations to you both!
