Hi, I’m Siobhan! A relaxed, storytelling photographer based in the South West. If you’re planning a proposal or engagement shoot at Stourhead, I’d love to help you capture the moment in the most natural, joyful way possible.

Stourhead’s Temple of Apollo is one of the dreamiest places in the UK to pop the question – imagine sweeping views, classical architecture, and gardens straight out of a Jane Austen film. (They filmed 2005’s Pride & Prejudice here!)

Yes! The National Trust requires permission for any professional photography. You’ll need to:

FAQ

Do I need to tell Stourhead in advance?

Yes! They don’t allow unbooked professional photography. Contact Anna @ at StourheadEvents@nationaltrust.org.uk, to get permission and pay their £150 fee.

This helps preserve and support the beautiful gardens you’ll be photographing in.

Do you help with surprise proposals?

Absolutely. I can help with timing, location scouting, and staying hidden until just the right moment.

What happens if it rains?

I can provide two clear umbrella for the shoot. It looks lovely in photos and lets the light through!

Can we change outfits during the shoot?

Yes, as long as we keep things moving, a quick outfit change is totally fine! There is no where private to change along the walk, so just something to keep in mind. It's quite a long walk around (about an hour) and the walk up to the Temple of Apollo is very steep, so good footwear is advised!

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! Stourhead is dog-friendly, and I’m always up for a shoot that includes your dog!
